Trapper's Cabin

Built in 1925, this trapper’s cabin is much like those from 50 years earlier. It served as the main base between trips along the trapline, with simple shelters built along the way for overnight stays. The snowshoes hanging outside were essential for winter travel, a technique early Europeans learned from Indigenous peoples.
