NAR Caboose 13021
Built in 1949 at the C.P. Angus Shop in Montreal, steam engine #27 pulled the first train into Hines Creek on December 10, 1930. The rail line ended at the northernmost point before freight rates increased, making Hines Creek a key transportation hub. Settlers arrived by train, exporting grain, cream, and livestock, while receiving mail, groceries, tools, machinery, and building materials by rail.
