Christ Lutheran Church
Construction of the church began in 1928 and was completed in 1932 by German-speaking immigrants from Germany, Poland, Russia, and southern Alberta. Built from local spruce and poplar trees, the logs were trimmed to 4 inches using axes and adzes, joined with dovetail notches and wooden pegs, and insulated with moss from the muskeg. Pastor A. Wolfram was the first resident, followed by N. Gloeckler, who served the longest and helped build the church.
